Tea Whisk Stand | 茶筅立て Chasen Stand

A Chasen stand (also called a Chasen holder) is a ceramic stand designed to maintain the shape of a bamboo matcha whisk (Chasen) after use.

Purpose of a Chasen Stand

• Preserves Shape: Helps the whisk retain its original curved form, preventing the tines from bending or breaking.

To use it, simply rinse your Chasen after whisking matcha, shake off excess water, and place it on the stand with the tines facing downward.
